Sixth-seed LSU defeats No. 11 Green Bay 75-71 in a NCAA women's basketball tournament first-round game at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Green Bay started the game with an 11-4 run, but LSU came back to take a 32-27 lead at halftme.

LSU (21-11) increased its lead to 54-36 after a layup by Theresa Plaisance with 12:38 left in the second half.

Then, Green Bay (29-3) started its comeback, cutting the LSU lead to 72-69 with 47.8 seconds remaining in the game.
