Williams said that shortly after 2 a.m., a fight broke out among five men in a parking lot in the 4600 block of Michoud Boulevard. One of them brandished a knife and another a broken bottle, which they used to attack the three others. Francisco Ferin, 33, was stabbed in the chest and abdomen and died later at a hospital. His identity was released Sunday by the Coroner’s Office. A 35-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and is in stable condition, Williams said. A 32-year-old man was cut on the hand with the bottle. He was treated at the hospital and released. Williams said the attackers fled the scene and police have no suspects. Marrero shooting victim is identified Jefferson Parish authorities have identified the victim in a shooting that left a man dead Saturday night in Marrero. Donte Hall, 22, was shot at about 7 p.m. in the 2600 block of Pelican Bay Boulevard, said Glenn Boyd, a spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. Police found Hall lying in the street suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. He died at the scene. Boyd said witnesses reported seeing two cars leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. Juvenile offender disables monitor Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a juvenile offender who disabled his electronic monitoring device the day before he was due in court, according to Sheriff Marlin Gusman. According to a news release, tracking equipment alerted deputies that the monitoring device was disabled at about 8:50 a.m. in the 1900 block of Conti Street, which was outside the juvenile’s restricted area. Deputies were unable to find the juvenile or the device. The juvenile was due in court Monday on a charge of juvenile possession of a firearm.
