Stay a Little Vile: John Barry was king of Krewe du Vieux 2014, and Dawn DeDeaux was the royal consort, reigning over the krewe’s ball after the parade, themed “Where the Vile Things Are.” An all-star musical lineup featured Big Chief Monk Boudreaux & Ivan Neville, War Chief Juan Pardo, Russel Battiste Jr. and other.

Picture Perfect: Filmmaker Glen Pitre and producer and writer Michelle Benoit threw their Krewe du Vieux parade party to welcome friends and fans of the satirical Carnival starter.
